From choosing where to eat to choosing a new car, making a decision can be tough for some people. If you weigh the choices carefully, you will eventually notice that there can be a right one, based on pure mathematics. This is how Decision Oven can help you make a decision. It lets you input the pros and cons of each option and it will tell you which one is the best.

The application is free and it can be used on all modern operating systems. It comes in a small package and it can be installed quickly, without making any advanced settings. The hardware requirements are modest and there is no need to install any special tools or services.

Using Decision Oven is quite easy. All you have to do is insert two or more options, as well as a few measurable criteria. Inserting an option doesn't involve anything more than clicking a button and typing a name. You will have to make a few more specifications when inserting a criterion. You can specify a maximum or minimum acceptable value, a weight, as well as Yes or No values.

Linking criteria with options is quite easy. Once they are inserted, you can find them in a table of contents, on the same user interface, but on a separate tab. All you have to do is click a series of check boxes, based on which options meet your inserted criteria. All that is left is to go to the third tab, where the application will display all your options, from best to worst, based on its calculations.

With Decision Oven, you can make sure that any decision you make will be the right one.

Pros

Decision Oven is straightforward and easy to use. It sorts your options, from best to worst, based on your own criteria. The application is free, it works on all modern Windows versions and it can be installed quickly.

Cons

The criteria editor seems a bit limited.
